It is important to note that I have had to single-handedly create a LUCRATIVE niched market for myself here in Nigeria. As at the time of writing - 9th February 2007 - there is STILL no single institution in this country that offers ExcelVB programming courses or even VBA courses of any sort. And there are certainly NO individuals or organisations offering Excel VB (or even VBA) software development solutions.

The main reason is a widespread belief out here, by some of the supposedly more knowledgeable "experts" and professionals that VBA programming is "inferior" to other "more popular" ones like C/C++, VB, SQL etc.

This pervasive disregard for applications developed to run within other office applications therefore made it extremely difficult to sell my services out here. It was only my CONVICTION(and VERY RUGGED PERSEVERANCE!) arising from what I knew could be done, based on my previous achievements in paid employment that kept me going - undaunted for over five years until when I began to get paid substantial six figure income (comparable to that received by those who claim to use "superior" methods) to develop custom Excel software within 10 to twenty working days!

On this page, I provide links to some real-life case studies/stories of how I successfully developed Excel Software Solutions to solve real-life problems for individuals and businesses. These stories are powerful because I also share with you HOW I sometimes had to overcome major bias to win projects and PROVE that my solutions worked, often better than an alternative the client had initially been tempted to purchase.

"Competence" Alone Does NOT Ensure Success In NEW Fields

Another reason I share these stories is to let those who aspire to earn a living doing something similar to what I do, in an environment like mine, understand that HAVING the skill/competence will often NOT be enough to make you succeed.

You will also need to develop a positive mind set, mental stamina and visualization. These three qualities are the most crucial elements needed to succeed in any areas of human endeavour. Without them, no matter how skilled you are, you may never achieve your goals or full potential.
