Hi Abe,
Thanks for your mail. Your request (and the phone no. you supplied)
suggest you are the same person who called me yesterday.
Just checked http://www.lazydrafter.com and went through 2 posts (e.g.
http://www.lazydrafter.com/autocad-tips/writing-autocad-scripts-with-excel/)
that I found by doing a search on the site using the search strings
"excel, script, 3d".
What you want can be done i.e automation of the entire process etc. Next
step is for us to meet and discuss specific details of your requirements.
Pre-project startup, I always work with clients to produce a Functional
Requirements Specification (FRS) document, which is a detailed list - that
can be ticked off by the client during program test-run - specifying what
the client WANTS the program to be able to do.
Preparing/agreeing a formal FRS document allows accurate estimation of
work to be done + project costing, in addition to ensuring that both
parties know what is expected to be in place at the end of the project.
If you wish to take this further, please call me on 0803-302-1263.
Warm Regards,
tayo.
